While planning a holiday outfit, I feel like it's most people's natural reaction is to gravitate towards anything black, sequin or shiny. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with that, I've seen some great outfits comprised of this go-to trifecta, but lately I've been really inspired by lighter shades for winter. Pretty blush tones, pastels and pale neutrals are unexpected and look amazing against rosy cheeks. Why not stand out from the sea of black, and occasional red or deep green, at the next holiday party? You'll be the life and light of the party!

I love that bijoux heart necklace. I actually thought about getting the matching earrings to wear on my wedding day, but they were a bit pricey so I decided against them. The fingerless gloves are cute too!
