Hope everyone had a great weekend! To bring some inspiration and color to an otherwise cold and blah Monday, I thought I'd share some images from
another one of my favorite photographers,
Sølve Sundsbø. After starting his career as an
assistant to Nick Knight, it's no wonder he's gone on to become one of the most talented and innovative artists in the industry.
Although his style is extremely versatile, his images are easily distinguishable by their glossy, almost plastic-like feel–as though they've been digitally altered–but what's so amazing is that most actually haven't. Sundsbø practices a lot of old-fashioned techniques to get this signature finish. I love how his photos always push creative boundaries with imaginative set-ups and out-of-the-box concepts. Great shots, these cars look so cool and one shot there makes the model look like a huge iceberg!!
