Working as a fashion editor in New York City, style is something that I am constantly surrounded by.  I've always been driven by creativity, both professionally and personally, and Dream & Dress was created as an outlet to share this passion in the form of daily fashion musings, decorating tips, entertaining ideas and other life experiences that will hopefully inspire readers to incorporate aspects into their own lives.

Another driving force for creating this blog was a life changing moment that happened in November 2010. Years prior, while attending Penn State University, I decided to create a "bucket list" detailing items I wanted to achieve before my time was up. Topping this list was my childhood goal of being on the television game show, Wheel of Fortune (crazy to some, but it was my list!)

Then, after more than a dozen times applying and almost eight years of waiting, I finally got an audition and made it on the show!  It felt amazing to cross #1 off my list, but what was even more amazing was that during my show I was able to put to use my years of Wheel-watching experience by solving a seven-word puzzle with just one letter! I never anticipated what would happen next.

The solve went viral on YouTube and I was asked to appear on numerous television and radio shows and was interviewed by some of the most talented people in the industry!  The experience is one I'll never forget and it just confirmed for me that with a positive attitude and a little persistence, anything is possible!  I was more inspired than ever to tackle the other items on my list, starting with the launch of Dream & Dress.com!
